Media Fast
The media fast was not that hard for me to do as long as i could find something to do. It was allot easier when I had someone to hang out with and was not stuck with just reading. It did allow me to catch up on some of my classes and wasn't to bad overall. The majority of the interactions I have with others is face to face rather then cellphone and facebook. some of the things that helped with passing the time during the fast was playing board games and reading as well as just hanging out with people.

I agree the fast really wasn't too bad as long as you could find something to do. Having people around was definitely a key in doing that. I also played games during the fast and forgot how fun that can be as well.
ReplyDeleteI also found that being around people helped a lot. Having face to face conversations takes your mind off of wanting to text or use your cell phone.

ReplyDeleteHanging out with friends was one of my ways to get my mind off of it for sure. It's so freeing to not have your phone in your hand when youre having a conversation. I sometimes think I need it, but it is so much more entertaining without it.
